RESULTS - DRAMA
Adjudicator - Sally Noble LGSM (Hons) LLAM, GODA, PGCA: Drama
Sally has been a Federation Adjudicator since 1973 and is a Director, Lecturer, Actress and Examiner. She began her Theatre career as a child in the North of England, later training in Bristol and London. She has taught in every type of school and is very intrested in Remedial and Youth Drama. She formed the Bristol Youth Theatre Company which has presented a very high standard of work with young people from all over the west of England.
A great deal of her time is spent tutoring Creative Drama Workshops and for several years taught Creative Drama to Vocal Students at the Birmingham Conservatoire of Music.
She is Examinations Director and an Active Examiner for the Poetry Vanguard.
In 2006 her first novel, 'Hannah and Horatio Pea', a story for readers 10 years to adult, was published.
Sally has been a frequent visitor to Northern Ireland over the past twenty (maybe more!) years, as well as visiting practically every county in England!
She finds adjudicating, 'Very Exciting!'.

Adjudicator - Stephen Nagy
Stephen studied at the Franz Liszt Academy of Music, Budapest and at Trinity College of Music, London. He was co-principal oboe and principal cor anglais player with Sadler's Wells Opera Co. (now English National Opera) 1959-63 and since then has played with most of the symphony and chamber orchestras in this country on a freelance basis. He has given many solo, chamber music and lecture recitals and was professor of oboe and wind chamber music at Trinity College of Music 1962-2001. He adjudicates regularly at festivals and music competitions, givs master classes and was principal adjudicator at the annual Chamber Music Competition for Schools 1982-2006.

PIANO - WEDNESDAY 14TH MAY 2008
Adjudicator - Martin Sanders-Hewett is a former pupil of King Edwad V1 Grammar School, Chelmsford. He studied the piano with Harold Parker and, on a county scholarship, with Peter Katin and David Parkhouse. He was awarded an open exhibition to Trinity College, Cambridge, from which he graduated in Music and won the Edith Leigh piano prize. After further studies at London University and with Peter Element at the Royal College of Music he worked as a teacher in secondary and further education, whilst maintaining a flourishing private practice.
In addition to his work as a freelance musician Martin currently works with Hertfordshire Music Service as senior piano teacher, moderator, coach, orchestral keyboard player and music consultant. He is an Associated Board examiner, a former Principal Examiner in Performance with Edexcel, and has adjudicated at music festivals and competitions.
Martin is in demand as an accompanist and has worked extensively with choirs, instrumentalists and singers in Hertfordshire and beyond and has performed at a variety of venues, including Notre-Dame de Paris, the South Bank and Barbican Hall. He plays the organ at the Liberal Jewish Synagogue, St. John's Wood and at St. George's Church, Bloomsbury and works with Tim Carey as part of a piano duet and two-piano team.
