Guidelines
As we're giving you direct access to the published website, we would appreciate you complying with a few simple requirements:
- You must be an authorised person to publish events listings and you will take full responsibility for the entries you make.
- Events must be within the spirit and scope of MusicInEssex and must be legal.
- Please keep calendar and contact card entries concise and free of hype.
- Each field will take only a limited number of characters
- There is not room, for example, to list every piece in a concert.
- "Spring Concert" or "Music from Beethoven and Liszt" are the sort of titles that are acceptable.
- And please do not use terms like "the best", "world-famous" and so on. We need to keep the entries short so that we can fit as many as possible onto the printed sheet.
- We don’t want to stop you giving mouth-watering descriptions, but the calendar is not the place for them. So why don’t you take out a Tutti web page on the site? You can say as much as you like and add pictures.
- The online forms may only be used for the purpose stated.
- Any listing that contravenes our guidelines will be removed and persistent offenders will have their account cancelled.
