— the IMPORTANT CHANGES that affect you are afoot. Music in South Essex (MISE) is the printed brochure, sister publication to the website. FROM SUMMER 2009 WE ARE ASKING YOU TO MAKE YOUR CONCERT ENTRIES FOR MISE VIA THE WEBSITE. Not only can you provide a lot more information about your concert or event, you have the ability to update it at any time. Your entry will appear on the website. If you are already putting your concert details on the site, and submitting separately to MISE, then we are saving you some work. The paper brochure will continue to be published twice yearly and at the time of publication will include all qualifying concerts on the website. ONE ENTRY=TWO PUBLICATIONS NB: because the paper version covers only south Essex, a qualifying concert will generally take place south of a line Harlow-Chelmsford-Maldon. The editor's decision is final. However concerts throughout Essex will continue to be advertised free of charge on the website. Don't forget to sign in regularly to update your info! |

Where's the forum? SOME people have been asking what has happened to the Musician's Forum. Unfortunately it got heavily spammed and has been removed. If we get inundated with complaints about there being no forum, we'll consider starting afresh. Music Festivals In conjunction with ABC Music, MusicInEssex.info supports the Southend and Leigh on Sea Musical Festivals. The results are published first on the website. |

Contact Cards and Tutti pages As a partner you can advertise your contact details in an online contact card and have your own web page in the heart of the Essex music community. Contact cards are free for amateur societies etc. Otherwise there is a very modest fee. Please don't forget to keep your contact card and your user profile up to date. Thanks for your co-operation. |
